Driving in Barbados is easier when you know the basics.
We drive on the left. Keep your valid driving licence with you, take roundabouts calmly, and ask us if you need local advice before setting off. Your booking estimate itemises the Barbados Car Rental Levy separately.

Questions before you book?
Can I pick up at Grantley Adams Airport?
Airport pickup can be requested during the booking flow. Z.H. Rentals will confirm the final handover arrangements with you.
Can you deliver to my hotel or villa?
Yes, you can choose Hotel / Villa as your pickup location and add the property name or address to your request.
How much is the rental?
Current daily rates are shown on the fleet cards and are loaded from Z.H. Rentals’ server settings. Your final quote will be confirmed before the reservation is accepted.
Is my booking confirmed immediately?
The website checks current vehicle availability first. Until the secure online gateway is activated, submitted reservations are reviewed by Z.H. Rentals before final confirmation. Once online payment is enabled, the checkout will require full payment before final confirmation.
How will online payment work?
Online rentals are priced in Barbados dollars (BBD). When the approved payment gateway is activated, card details will be entered through the secure gateway flow; Z.H. Rentals will not store raw card numbers or CVV data.
What is the security deposit?
The current working policy is a separate BDS $500 vehicle security authorization, subject to final confirmation of the card-hold workflow with our payment provider. The final security-deposit process will be shown clearly before payment is taken.
